My Story

I initially trained with the Royal Air Force, specialising in Mechanical Engineering, Management, and Practice. After that I spent several years travelling and overlanding in Africa. This sparked an appetite for adventure as I experienced remote parts of the continent on journeys that were all about new discovery. Shortly after, I transitioned over to the yachting industry in 1995 and haven’t looked back.

My career has involved 12 years working as a chief engineer on motor yachts, with my first build project as a build engineer taking place in Germany back in 2007.

Since then, I’ve primarily worked on new build projects throughout Northern Europe on yachts ranging from 60m to 140m, across various roles including project management through to technical consultant and onsite inspection.
