For Y.CO sustainability is about the future. A future that’s bright, a future that’s kind, a future that’s yellow. It’s about having respect for each other and the planet. It’s about being brave. Brave enough to dream, brave enough to try and brave enough to believe that real change is achievable.

Y.CO takes an integrated, holistic approach to sustainability. We recognise that true change takes time, patience and commitment. But we also believe that without a targeted plan of action, change remains an idea, rather becomes a reality.
Y.CO Sustainability Policy
Leadership is about translating vision into action. And empowering your team to do the same. So we’re setting ambitious new targets, disseminating our knowledge, training our people and enabling them to lower the Y.CO operational footprint. We’re turning sustainability from an ambition into a targeted team and business strategy, while increasing client value through environmental and social initiatives.
Because we believe that it’s time for yachting to have a cleaner conscience. For yachting’s major players to club together to be more responsible, more accountable. And to not only enable people to enjoy the water, but empower them to help protect it.
We believe superyachts have a role beyond enjoyment. We believe they can be used as floating research vessels, platforms for scientific exploration, opportunities for social cohesion. Whether it’s using yachts to help research plastic pollution in our seas, assist in environmental disasters, bring aid to remote communities or simply bring people and crews together in inspiring, purposeful circumstances, we believe in the power of yachts to discover, assist and unify.
Because we know that with inspired crews, collaborative action and the application of science, yachting can be used as a force for global good. And rather than sitting on that knowledge, we want to translate it into action.
Our Pillars of Action
We want to trailblaze the way to more sustainable yachting, helping the fleet improve its efficiency, reduce its waste and embrace the latest, cleanest technology. We see a future of yachting with zero pollution and a net positive impact. Through cooperative action with our fleet we will make decisive strides towards a lower environmental footprint. At Y.CO, we won’t just talk about ‘going green’. We’ll be busy working out how.
The ocean is our everything. Why would we want to irreversibly damage something that we love? We believe in research and innovation to make our fleet cleaner, greener and resolutely future-facing, providing a benchmark for other yachting companies to do the same, while delivering greater financial value to our clients.
