My Story

Brought up in the salty air and black sand beaches of the Auckland coast, my maritime experience began as a painter at Alloy Yachts in the Waitakere. Two years later, wanderlust brought me to Antibes and subsequently 14 great years of service on yachts, ranging from 35m to 90m. Instead of Caribbean season, I spent winters exploring Europe’s ski resorts, where I developed a passion for snowboarding.
 
Outside work, I spend my time with my wife, who I met at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2011, and our two wonderful kids, who bring much joy and a valuable perspective to life. I played rugby and tennis at a competitive level on the north shore of Auckland and still always enjoy a good hit out on the court, probably because I usually win!
