Ivaylo Nenov

My Story

I was born on the sunny Black Sea coast of Bulgaria with a passion for sports cars, motorcycles and football. Being lucky enough to be in a family of mechanical engineers, I grew up working on car rebuild projects.

I graduated from the Naval Academy and got an MSc degree in Marine Engineering. I started my career in commercial shipping with various engineering positions onboard huge oil tankers and passenger vessels in the Oil and Gas Industry. Being very passionate about the industry and in particular, exploration and production of energy resources, I decided to widen my knowledge and get a degree in Subsea Engineering. After almost 13 years at sea,  I decided to move to the shore and join the Y.CO team.
