My Story

I grew up in the water rather than on it. Swimming and playing water polo at regional level turned out to be great training for cleaning the waterline when I joined the yachting industry as crew! I spent three years onboard, first as a Deckhand and then Second Engineer, yachts from 39 to 72 metres.
 
I brought my bike to France to help with dockwalking, but it became my passion and soon progressed to long-distance cycling - I’ve cycled unsupported from Nice to London twice, raising over €13,000 for charity. After that it only seemed natural to attempt the Nice Ironman: A 3.8km swim, 180km ride and a marathon to finish. I loved every minute of it!
