My Story
I grew up in a countryside town near to Bologna, Italy, quiet a far world from the sea and yachting. After my degree in Statistics and Economics I decided it was time for a change, so I departed for an exchange semester in Germany, next I worked for a couple of years In Dublin and then did a working holiday experience in Australia, to finally end up back in my hometown for a few more years. It was almost by coincidence that I found and applied for a position as Yacht Accounts Support at Y.CO, and indeed it was a lucky one. I always hoped for a job in an international environment, in a modern company, and in such an exciting field with so many things to learn, and working at Y.CO is all that. The friendly, positive, and collaborative atmosphere always present in the office also helps. Since moving to Nice in 2023, in my free time and weekends I like exploring new corners of this delightful area which is the French (and Italian) Riviera and attempting to improve my French – still a lot of work to do on that!
My Passion
I also enjoy working out, trekking and I am always happy to spend some time relaxing at home watching a movie. In the next months I would like to travel to the European countries I’m missing and maybe attempt some watersports.
